Red Ogre Review is open for submissions for our October and fifth-year anniversary issue!
We're a fiscally-sponsored nonprofit press based out of Los Angeles, the UK, and Ireland. We're interested in poetry, visual art, and music. We also publish a regular critique column and a series of poetry chapbooks.
If you're familiar with online literary magazine shorthand terms, our zine is no fee, no pay, sim-sub OK, sim-pub OK. That means there's no fee to submit, no payment for non-exclusive publication, and simultaneous submissions are fine by us.
Our back issues give a good idea of the subject matter and styles that we're most likely to consider. If you're not sure, send it along! We'll take a look.

Our newest project is open for submissions!
In a sentence: we're looking for critical essays, nonfiction, and poetry on the topic of poetry in education, with an emphasis on philosophical approaches to, and pedagogical methods for, teaching poetry.
Editing will be led by Dr. Jones Irwin, our poetry critique columnist and Associate Professor of Philosophy and Education, Dublin City University.
This project is open to all, but primarily designed for current and past educators and scholars of pedagogy.
